Vol1 : Dinner at Eight: Carroll Gibbons

Carroll Gibbons and his famous Savoy Hotel Orpheans perform some classic big band numbers. Included are two Fields/McHugh numbers, the rather dull Dinner at Eight, and the rather jollier I'll Make a Happy Landing which comes complete with aircraft engine noise, and a clipped diction delivery by vocalist Jack Plant, which is typical of the era.
