One of my favourite recordings by an octogenarian vocalist!

Elisabeth Welch's voice may be quavery, but long notes held no fear for her, and she draws you into each song. A particular favourite is her version of the Heyman/Green song Hello, My Lover, Goodbye.

She includes the verse on the single Fields track, Porgy.
